We provide a comprehensive suite of services for complete compliance with federal and state information privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA medical record destruction. We cater to and support private residences, small/home office businesses, mid-market corporations and Fortune 500 companies. We help our clients ensure security, privacy and regulatory compliance. We can provide on-site and off-site document destruction as part of our document destruction service offerings.

Shane was born and raised in Victoria, TX. He received his Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corps in 1991. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics in 1995. That same year he began work with Continuum Corporation as a software engineer. He left Continuum shortly after they were acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation and worked for Siebel Systems from 1999 to 2004. Shane started Austin Shred in 2003 as a part-time endeavor and began running the company full-time in 2004. On January 1st, 2008 Austin Shred Merged with Balcones Recycling. The new company offers on-site, off-site and walk-up shredding services to the central texas region. Shane's motivating factor in creating Austin Shred and merging with Balcones Resources was and is to create an ethically sound company that places the clients' priorities and needs first. Our customers are NEVER wrong!

Liz is originally from Upstate New York and has called Austin home since 1992. Her undergraduate degrees were English and History, (LeMoyne College, Syracuse, New York) and her graduate work earned her a Juris Doctorate in Law from the Villanova University School of Law outside Philadelphia, PA. In Austin, Liz has worked for both large firms (Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan) and in-house for privately held companies (Intelligent Technologoes Corporation) and has found the best fit for her to be locally owned and managed companies. Liz believes strongly in the importance of supporting local businesses, is committed to working toward greater sustainability, both from an economic and environmental sense, and is proud to be a part of the Austin Shred team.

Russell was born and raised in Lufkin, TX. After high school graduation in May of 2002 he enrolled in Blinn College in Bryan, TX. Afer two years at Blinn, Russell transferred to Texas A&M University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Leadership and Development in 2007. That same year he started with Balcones Resources and transferred to the Austin Shred team in January 2008.

Austin Muse was born in Dallas, TX and moved to Austin in 1987. He attended elementary through high school at various schools here in Austin, TX. Austin received his diploma from McCallum High School. He attended local colleges until he became assistant manager for a large retail chain. Three years later he was looking for something different than the corporate world and came to work for Austin Shred. His talents were quickly noticed and he was promoted to Sales Manager in 2005. Austin has a great sense moral and ethical responsibility, as his customers will readily attest.

Liz was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley (San Benito, TX). She relocated to Austin with her husband, Leo and daughter, Kamryn in 2006. Liz has been a full time stay at home mother for the last several years and recently decided to re-join the workforce with Austin Shred. Liz brings a medical administration background to her experience as the office administrator for Austin Shred. Liz's primary focus is providing a happy and personalble experience for each customer she works with.

Rodobaldo "Baldo" was born in Cuba, he came to the USA when he was 11 years old with his parents and two brothers. He graduated from Anderson High School in 2003. Baldo's previous work experience was as a material handler for a local technology company. Baldo has a wife Yarelis and daughter Stephanie.
